The information contained in this Report covers the Period from December 1st, 2016 to, and including, November 30th, 2017 (the “Applicable Period”). Double Z Broadcasting, Inc. had no full-time vacancies during the period. As indicated below, Double Z Broadcasting, Inc. has developed a list of recruitment sources available for use upon the opening of a job position at the station in order to widely disseminate information regarding job openings to the community. No party or organization requested notification of job openings pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii) of 47 C.F.R.
In addition, during of the Applicable Period, Double Z Broadcasting, Inc. has engaged in the following non-vacancy specific activities:
1 . Participation in Events Sponsored by Educational Institutions Relating to Careers in Broadcasting
On Tuesday, October 31st, Double Z Broadcasting hosted 10 high school students from the Leeds High School. They were given tours of the studios, and employees from each department explained their careers in Broadcasting.
On Monday, October 2nd, Devils Lake High School Student Robert Ditmars participated in a job shadowing experience at the Double Z Broadcasting studios.
2 .Participation in Career Fairs Sponsored by Community Organizations or Educational Institutions
On Wednesday, September 20th, Double Z Broadcasting employees, including General Manager Curt Teigen, IT Director Jeremy Eizenzimmer , Sales Manager Roger Mertens, and Sales Representatives Erin Light and Beverly Koshney participated in a High School Career Fair, presented at the Devils Lake High School. More than 350 students from Devils Lake and Surrounding Communities were in attendance. We set up a working portable studio, so as kids could go “on air” with it, and each employee explained their careers in the Broadcasting Field.
