. Participation in Events Sponsored by Educational Institutions Relating to Careers in Broadcasting

On April 18th, 2012,  Sales Representative Erin Light gave a presentation on radio marketing to  


the Marketing class at Lake Region State College.  Erin also gave tours to the class of the

studios, and worked with them in developing a sample advertising campaign.

 

On October 31st, 2012, Double Z Broadcasting hosted 10 students from the Leeds High School for a career day.  Two groups of five students spent 3 hours observing the various departments in the radio stations, and learned of the careers offered.

 

 

2 .Participation in Career Fairs Sponsored by Community Organizations or Educational Institutions 



On July 27th, 2012, News Director, Eric Arnt participated in the “College For Kids” event at Lake Region State College.  The event hosted 140 kids in grades 1-7 from the area, to explore professional careers.  Eric Arndt gave presentations on Journalism, and did several on-air presentations promoting the event.

 

 

On September 25th, 2012, Sports Director Mark Beighley gave presentations on Sports

Broadcasting at the Annual Devils Lake Occupational Fair at the Devils Lake Sports

Center, sponsored by Lake Region State College and the North Dakota Career Resource

Coordinating Program.
